Mid-Argyll Show 

History

The history section, up until 1994 is extracted from a commemorative booklet that was researched and compiled in 1995 by the late Donnie McVean, Lochgilphead, for the centenary show that year. The 'Oban Times' kindly allowed access to early editions of the newspaper which assisted in the production of the booklet.

A brief summary of the Shows from 1996 - 2001 has been added and we hope soon to add the outstanding years to get up to the present time.
