Changes to UK Data Privacy law will take effect from 25 May 2018. The new Regulation aims to simplify, unify and update the protection of personal data of all EU citizens. It is reshaping the way organisations approach data privacy. Individuals will have more rights regarding the processing of their data, and anyone processing personal data will have far more responsibility.

The Mid Argyll Agricultural Society takes the matter of your data privacy very seriously. We have been working to improve our processes where appropriate to ensure that we meet the requirements of the new Regulation.

We hold the following information: name, address and email address. We hold your information because you have supplied it to us in order to be informed of the Society’s activities.

What we do with the information we gather

The information you provide allows us to include you in our Mailing List. The sole purpose of the information we hold is to update and keep informed, those on the Mailing List, of all activities, news and information relating to the Mid Argyll Show run by the Mid Argyll Agricultural Society.

We will not pass on your details to any third party. Your information is under the sole control of the Mid Argyll Agricultural Society Secretaries.
